Who I am

I am a professional freelance translator with an M.A. in translation. I have two mother tongues, French and Italian, and an excellent command of English and German. Thus I translate back and forth between French and Italian and from English and German into French.

I also edit and proofread texts written in French or Italian.

I was born and raised in Lausanne and later moved to Lugano (in Italian Switzerland) where I lived for 12 years. Since 2003 I have operated a translation office in Basel.

I attended the School of Translation and Interpretation in Geneva, graduating in 1984. As part of the curriculum I lived and studied for extended periods in the UK and Italy.
